Technical Difficulties: Part 2
By the book
It was great enough that the November issue of Nylon had an article on San Francisco, but I was very pleasently surprised when I turned the page and saw an entire third of a page about Shotwell! A friend introduced me to Shotwell before thier move to thier current location on Grant, close to the gate to Chinatown. The new space they have is really great and the store has a fun vibe that I love visiting.
For the past few years the shop and thier popularity have grown, and I always leave wishing I had more money to spend on the great selection of merchandise. They carry so many of my most frequently lusted-after brands, like Elizabeth and James, Dolce Vita, and Jeffrey Campbell, as well as an excellent vintage collection. They also never forget to accesorize, and I am constantly impressed by the amazing jewelry pieces that are entirely chic and unique. If you are ever in SF, visiting Shotwell is an automatic must. If not, they have an online shop - I am already making my wishlist!http://www.shotwellsf.com/
P.S. The've got you covered too guys!
P.P.S. Shotwell is on Twitter (with tweets on thier fashion, fun, and a cute little pug) and well worth the follow!

Absolutely infinite
With daylight savings ending and finally some real fall weather, I thought today would be a good day to pull out my new Urban Outfitters Fur infinity scarf. Needless to say, it is so soft and cuddly, it managed to keep me nice and warm, and I have a feeling it will be very handy this season.

Lanvin x H& M
This past week, H&M has finally let us have a look at the highly anticipated Lanvin collaboration collection. I had high expectations, and the end result was not quite what I had anticipated after watching the odd, artsy campaign video.
The styling of the lookbook for the collection was rather reassuring. Each piece stands out with bold colors and strong shapes and fabrics, but when combined correctly, they create looks that are quite sensational. Some reflect trends of this fall/winter season, but others are completely unique, such as the bright yellow-greens and fiery shades of pink. I find his textural play with ruffles and sheer fabrics of strong blacks and whites quite enticing. (And all of the men's pieces are excellent, I might add..) I'm praying that my little H&M will be one of the 200 stores recieving some of this line, but it will be worth driving into the city for, especially the furs and sunglasses! The entire collection is viewable online on the Vogue UK site.
